Who writes and reviews our content

Every procedure page and patient guide is written or reviewed by Dr. Waqas Hayat, MBBS, FCPS (Plastic Surgery, 2021), a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with 10 years of experience, a member of the Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons and Managing Editor of the Journal of Postgraduate Medical Institute (JPMI). Pages carry a “Medically reviewed by” line with the date of the last review.

How we check medical information

• Statements about procedures, recovery and risks reflect current surgical practice and Dr. Waqas Hayat’s clinical experience.
• Where general medical facts are given, we point to recognised sources such as the NHS, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and peer-reviewed journals.
• We describe likely results and recovery as ranges, because every patient heals differently, and we do not promise or guarantee outcomes.
• Risks and limitations are included on every procedure page.

Prices and practical details

Fees, consultation hours and contact details are checked when they change. Where a starting price is shown, the final fee is confirmed after an in-person consultation and examination.

Patient photos and privacy

Clinical photographs are used only with the patient’s written consent and with identifying features removed. Patient details are never shared in reviews, replies or posts.

Updates and corrections

Pages are reviewed at least once a year and whenever practice changes. If you spot an error, please email info@transformplasticsurgeryclinic.com; we correct confirmed errors promptly and update the review date.
